Stamp of the Month Club: Birthday Blossoms Card

With the On Stage conference in April and the Mediterranean Cruise coming up this month, I decided to do a combined April/May kit for Stamp of the Month Club. I am featuring the Birthday Blossoms stamp set from the Annual Catalog (not to be confused with the Birthday Blooms stamp set from the Occasions Catalog). I used spring colors for this birthday card kit. Here's the first card in the set of three.

 

I love the way the stamped paper turned out! I used the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper with the Blushing Bride watercolor stripes and stamped "happy birthday" on the white lines.

I always tend to fuss over my card designs more than I should. After I finished the set of cards and took pictures, I decided to make a few changes. I added more leaves and some Whisper White Baker's Twine. But I can't decide which card I like better. I like the simplicity of the first card and wonder if the extra leaves and twine is "too much".
