Paint Play Sunflower Card + Stamp of the Month Club Card Kit Reveal

I'm going to make your want a stamp set that you didn't even give a second look at in the new catalog. It's called Paint Play. And trust me -- just go ahead and order it now! I try not to make big promises, but I really do think you're going to love this new set after you see what I've created with it! So here we go! The first card I designed for my August Stamp of the Month Club card kit is a sunflower. Stamp the center in Soft Suede in the corner of the cardstock and then stamp the "leaf" image as flower petals in Crushed Curry ink.

The Ticket Tear border and the Old Olive cardstock (stamped with the lines stamp) are actually glued to the inside of the card. I  cut 1" off the front of the Crushed Curry cardstock. The sunflower image is attached to the card front and hangs over the edge, where you can see the other layers showing from the inside of the card.

I surely do like this card. I like the sunflower (petals made with a leaf stamp), the green corrugated border, and the slightly off-kiltered flower square that extends over the card front. An A++ design.

Upon further review, I guess that corrugated border only resembles corrugated. Neat.

I also like this card but the sunflower would be so much easier using the daisy stamp set. And l did and the card turned out so cute.
