Weather Together: Brighter Days Card

It's finally starting to feel like spring here in central Illinois! We had more snow this April that we had ALL last winter combined! It's been a crazy month and I finally got a chance to finish designing cards for the April Stamp of the Month Club kit. I thought that the Weather Together stamp set would be a good one to feature in April, but I a winter-themed set might have been more appropriate!

The Weather Together stamp set is on the retiring list. It's a stamp set that I think gets overlooked in the catalog, but it's a gem! There are many sentiments and images in the set that make it a go-to for baby and wedding shower cards and cards or thanks and encouragement.

I used the retiring Soft Sky and Wisteria Wonder  on this card. It's card to see in the photo above, but I stamped the flowers along the edge of the Soft Sky cardstock. Here's a close-up:

I stamped the sentiment on a skinny scrap of Whisper White cardstock and then cut it apart to attach to the card. The Umbrella Weather framelit dies cut out the umbrella and handle quickly and easily. They are also retiring, so be sure to get them before they are gone!
