REPOST: Leprechaun Hat Treat Holder Video Tutorial

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here's a project that I originally shared back in 2018, but it's too cute that I had to share again!

I don't usually make projects for St. Patrick's Day, but after I saw Judy Strickling's leprechaun hats, I knew I had to make some for our teachers at school! Check out Judy's original project here. Judy is such a talented stamper! Be sure to check out her other projects because I know you will be inspired!

I created my hat boxes after seeing just the photo of Judy's, so my measurements are a little bit different and the "box" part is a little bit smaller than Judy's. My hat fits about 10 Rolo candies. I picked Rolos because they have a "gold" wrapper and leprechauns love gold!

These little treat boxes are so easy to make and you probably have everything you need at home! Watch my video tutorial and I'll lead you step-by-step through making this project.

TIP: If you don't have the Layering Circle framelits to make a 3" circle for the bottom of the hat, try tracing the bottom of a glass or jar and cutting it out!
