Have you been keeping up with the Great, Big Card Swap? The concept is simple: "Send a card. See them all. Get one back." The cards have been amazing! Each video is around 100 cards, so you're sure to be inspired! Check out the Great, Big Card Swap Showcase Videos on YouTube here. I was so inspired by two of the cards that I re-created them during Thursday Night Stamp Therapy.
This card idea was CASEd from Toni Shaw. The designer paper accordion fold inside the card is perfect for attaching elements to pop-up. I used the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. I can't wait to try this layout again!
Since the inside is so elaborate, I kept the front pretty simple with just a piece of this gorgeous specialty paper and a label greeting.
Here are the measurements:
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Early Espresso Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4"
5-1/4" x 10" Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper, scored at 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8"
4" x 5-1/4" Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper (front)
(2) 1-3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock

The Great, Big Card Swap keeps growing! We received so many cards that I had to break them into two group so that I could better manage all of the cards! The theme for August was "designer paper" you guys guys knocked it out of the park with your amazing and inspiring cards! Return swaps for Part 1 were mailed last week and Part 2 will be sent out this week, so watch your mailbox to see which one you'll get! But first, here's a look at ALL of them!
Ready to jump in and participate in the next Great, Big Card Swap?
How does it work? "Send a card! See them all! Get one back!"
It's sounds simple because it is! You create a regular full-size card for the monthly theme. Include a return postage stamp and a sticky note message inside. (I'll provide the return envelopes.) If you're sending ahead for the next month's theme, make sure to write the month on the envelope so I know to hold it for that month.
I will showcase all of the cards in a video so you can see what everyone else created and then I'll send them back! Everyone who sends a card will get one back!
September 2021 Theme: Fall/Autumn
1st Video Showcase: Tuesday, September 14, 2021
2nd Video Showcase: Tuesday, September 28, 2021
October 2021 Theme: Thankful/Grateful
•Send Full Size Card
•Write "September Card Swap" on Envelope
•Include return postage stamp. Envelopes will be provided. (Please do NOT include custom envelopes with your card.)
•Don't write inside! Include a sticky note or loose paper to say hello.
Here's a fun poem to tuck inside your card when you don't sign the card itself: "I didn't sign this card before I sent it off to you. Instead, I tucked a "paper hug" inside as a gift from me to you! So if you find you need to brighten someone's day -- then sign this card and send it on its way!"

Frequently Asked Questions:
Who can participate in this swap? EVERYONE! This swap is open to all stampers, including Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
Can I send more than one card? Yes! Each card should be different and you should include a return stamp for each card.
Can I use retired or non-Stampin' Up! products? Yes! I want EVERYONE to participate regardless of their paper-crafting collection! I will sort cards before swapping so that stampers who do use current Stampin' Up! product will get cards with current Stampin' Up! product in return.
Can I sign the back of my card? Yes! Please leave the inside blank so the person who receives your card can send it on and bless someone else. But feel free to include your usual maker marking on the back.
What happens if my card doesn't arrive in time? Postal transit times are unpredictable. If your card arrives late, don't worry! I will showcase it in another weekly video and make sure that you get a return swap!
I would love for you to include a note inside the card -- a little about yourself or just a happy greeting to the person who gets your card. Please note, I will remove any solicitations (business cards, business links, etc.)
Attention International Stampers! I would love for you to participate in this swap! Use this Paypal link to pay $5 USD for 3 return postage stamps. (I'll hold them with your name on them to use for future swaps.) I'm worried about transit times, so be sure to mail early or work ahead one month! Mark your envelope with the month/theme you intend to submit the swap.
Privacy Statement: During the showcase video (posted on YouTube and Facebook), I will provide the first and last name of the card maker. If you prefer to be anonymous or only mentioned by first name, please let me know in a written note inside your card. Although I am entering mailing addresses in a spreadsheet, it is for the sole purpose of generating return address labels. Your information will not be shared or sold to a third party, including another swapper. I will never personally use your information for any other reason besides sending return cards for The Great, Big Card Swap.

Here is a little sneak peek! This might be my favorite design of the five cards in this card class! I love the monochromatic color story, which also means -- no coloring!
I don't know how well the photo shows it, but the white cardstock frame on the front is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I love this little details that dies the card together.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Currently you are visiting Julie Davison from the middle of the United States (Central Illinois to be exact!). This month, my friends from around the world and I are sharing projects with the theme "Friendship". I turned right to the new Sale-a-Bration stamp set "Feels Like Home" because I love the sentiment in this set: "Your friendship feels like home to me."
I designed this cards for two card swaps that I participated in. I combined the Beautifully Penned Designer Paper with the stamp set -- both are available as a FREE Sale-a-bration gift choices with a qualifying order until September 30. Learn More
I was a little intimidated by this stamp set at first because I don't like to color, but this beautiful detailed set looks great in "black and white" with a pop of color! Leave a comment and let me know which of these two cards you prefer.
That's all from me today! Thank you for visiting! For now, it's time to carry on with the blog hop and see what other amazing projects my Stampin' friends from around the world have created for you today!

Our family usually celebrates Halloween in a minimal way. In the past, we have gotten together with the same family friends every year for dinner and trick-or-treating, but we don't usually decorate and I don't usually send Halloween cards. Usually I don't bother with Halloween-specific stamp sets and choose, instead, to buy stamp sets that have stamps for multiple occasions.
I couldn't help myself though when I saw the new Cute Halloween Suite in the July-December 2021 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog! The paper is just the cutest and the stamp set has a coordinating punch that punches three images at once! This may be the year that I "do" Halloween!
Mom and I featured the Cute Halloween Suite in our Sunday Stamping video series this week. I created two projects with the Tombstone Treat Boxes...one for Halloween and one that's not! Leave a comment and let me know which one is your favorite!
I was inspired by a project in the Mini Catalog and I used the Seasonal Labels Dies to die cut a window in the top of the treat box. The Hershey Nuggets inside are wrapped with a 1" x 3" piece of designer paper.
Not a fan of Halloween? Cut the tombstone shape down and decorate the rectangular box. I used a 2" strip of the Beautifully Penned Designer Paper (a Sale-a-Bration gift choice!) with a pop of Fresh Freesia ribbon and tag.
Watch the "replay" of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie for more details on these projects and a tip for lining up three stamps on one block!
