VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Ice Cream Swirl Gift Box + Bonus Project Ideas

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? We always had ice cream with birthday cake when I was growing up. When I think of ice cream, I think of special celebrations with my family. The Ice Cream Swirl stamp set and coordinating dies are perfectly for celebrating those same occasions on paper -- whether you're creating cards, banners, scrapbook pages, or gift packaging -- the images in this bundle have you covered!

 
I designed this small gift box for a recent episode of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie. I wanted to highlight the unique die in the Ice Cream Swirl Dies that makes it quick and easy to create a tag. The cone-shaped die has a fold line in the middle. Just add a scoop (or two) with the stamped image or detailed die cuts!

Here are the measurements that I used. Change up the size of the paper or the scoring measurements for the sides to adjust the box to fit your needs.

 
Project Measurements:

• 6" x 6" Lighter Than Air Designer Paper, scored at 1" on all sides
• 5-15/16" x 5-15/16" Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, scored at 1" on all sides
• 3" x 3" Lemon Lolly Cardstock
• Flirty Flamingo, Bubble Bath, and Pecan Pie Cardstock to Die Cut
• 1-3/4" Basic White cardstock
• 1-1/2" Cello Bag or Clear Envelope

Stampin' Up! Sparkling Snowflake Tag Topper Treat Box + VIDEO

I don't often make 3D projects, but when it came time to feature the Sparklling Snowflakes bundle for Sunday Stamping, I couldn't get this project off my mind. I love using Tag Topper Punches to create quick and easy gift packaging and the Sparkling Snowflakes punch makes this one perfectly festive for winter holidays!

The base of the box is made of three pieces: one long piece for the front and back and two small side pieces that hold it together. The finished project is 2" x 3-1/2" x 11" and will perfectly hold two Ghirardelli chocolates squares.

Projecte Measurements

• 2” x 8” Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 3-1/2” and 4-1/2”
• (2) 1” x 2” pieces scored at 1/2” and 1-1/2” for the sides

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Halloween Nested Treat Box

Last month, Mom and I featured the Pick of the Patch bundle for our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video. We paired it with the new Tartan Foil Designe Paper -- a new Special Release Online Exclusive. 

Instead of a card, I decided to make a Halloween treat box. I used the new Nested Treat Boxes and wrapped designer paper around the outer box. The inside box has a front panel with embossed cardstock and punched pumpkins.

The Nested Treat Boxes are a very generous size -- 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and are food safe. I was able to fit six fun size candy bars inside the box.

3 Stampin' Up! Scary Cute Halloween Projects with Glitter Washi Tape

I usually don't get Halloween-specific stamp sets, but I couldn't resist these cuties from the new July-December Mini Catalog. I showcased this bundle along with the new Glitter Washi Tape in on of my 12 Days of Christmas in July videos. Here are the projects that I created. For the first project, I customized an Embossed Treat Bag with strips of the Glitter Washi Tape! I love how festive it turned out!

Next, I CASEd a project from the catalog and make a regular 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card instead of a slimline card.

Lastly, I mix and matched a couple patterns from the versatile Black & White Designs Designer Paper for the background of this Halloween card. I love the pop of color that the Glitter Washi Tape adds to the sentiment!
