Someone asked me recently where I find new ideas. I am most inspired by card swaps. Demonstrators swap cards when new product is released. We usually make multiples of the same card and then grade with other demonstrators so that we have a variety of cards to share and display. One of my favorite ways to swap is a one-for-one direct mail swap. Instead of sending a group of cards to a swap host, we just send them individually to each swapper. It's so fun to receive a bunch of happy mail! And it was this style of swapping that inspired me to start The Great, Big Card Swap for all stampers!
Today's card share is a Double Z Fold card that I designed to swap with some demonstrator friends. I love this easy fun fold! It's a great way to show off coordinating designer paper and it's an easy card design. Watch the end of the video below (at 36:59) to see what cards I received back with the Eden's Garden Suite.
This Double Z Fold card is easy! Here are the measurements to create it:
- 4-1/4" x 11" Soft Succulent Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2" and 8-1/4"
- 3-1/4" x 10" Evening Evergreen Cardstock, scored at 4-1/2" and 7-1/4"
- 3" x 4-1/4" Ever Eden Designer Paper (dark pattern)
- 3" x 2-1/2" Ever Eden Designer Paper (light pattern)
