VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Gate Fold Pop-Up Card Tutorial

Have you ever been inspired by an everyday item like a kitchen towel? Aleta Williams sent me this sweet gift and and I fell in love with the the colors and had to make a card! I used Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, Balm Blue, and Night of Navy to make this fun Gate Fold Pop-Up Card inpired by a card that came in from Cecilia Gyory for the Great, Big Card Swap.

Here is my version of this fun fold using the Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch stamp set and Tartan Foil Designer Paper.

Card Measurements

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Copper Clay Cardstock, scored at 2-1/8", 4-1/4", and 6-3/8"
• line up score line at 1/4" from each side of the center score line and CUT from 1" down to 4-1/2"
• Use scissors to cut the center section, leaving approximately 1/2" from each inside end
• (4) 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" Tartan Foil Designer Paper
• 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" Very Vanilla Cardstock (inside)
• 2 1/2" x 3-1/2" Very Vanilla Cardstock (to die cut)
• 1-1/4" x 11" Night of Navy Cardstock

6 Stampin' Up! Rustic Crate Bundle Card Ideas

The September-December 2023 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog has so many beautiful products -- new stamps, dies, designer paper, embellishments, and more! When so many of the popular favorites were out of stock, Mom and I chose to shine that light on some hidden gems like the Rustic Crate bundle.  Here is the card that I designed for our Sunday Stamping video a couple weeks ago.

I was inspired by a card idea from the Sept-Dec 2023 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. I used the same colors and layout, but made a portrait card instead of landscape.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! All About Autumn Leaves Vertical Easel Card

Here's a card that I designed with the All About Autumn Designer Paper and Autumn Leaves bundle for a Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video.

This fun fold has a Z fold front that tucks under the embossed cardstock raised up on the inside. Two folded flaps that tuck under the designer paper allow the focal point to pop-out on the card front.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Autumn Card + Punch Tip

There are many ways to use Stampin' Up! Decorative Masks (aka stencils). Earlier this month, I shared another fall card that I created with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks along with some extra project ideas from Stampin' Up!. (See post.) You can use sponge daubers, blending brushes, embossing paste, markers, and other mediums to create unique backgrounds and focal images. For today's card, I used sponge daubers to create a simple color-on-color background for this autumn card featuring the Pick of the Patch bundle from the Sept-Dec 2023 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. 

Here's a tip for conserving paper and stamping and punching both pumpkins using the Pick of the Patch Builder Punch at the same time!

• Punch out a piece of scrap cardstock.
• Put the cardstock flat on your work surface.
• Line up the stamps inside the punched cardstock scrap.
• Place the clear block over the stamps to pick them up.
• Stamp & punch!

I changed out the bottom piece and used the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Mask in the card above, but the technique is still the same. Watch the replay of the video tutorial for this card:

6 Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Card Ideas + Video

The super popular All About Autumn Designer Paper hasn't been in stock more than 48 hours total since it was officially released at the start of the September-December 2023 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. It was due back in stock today, but it looks like that date has been bumped until next week.

This paper is gorgeous and definitely worth getting even if you have to save it for next autumn! Today's project was inspired by a card that I originally designed with some of that special designer paper -- but is redesigned to be made without it.
