VIDEO: CASEing the Stampin' Up! Catalog with Round We Go Bundle

I loved CASEing the Catalog! I'm so inspired by the project ideas and often use them as a starting point when I sit down to create with a new stamp set. So naturally, I turned to the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog to make cards with the Round We Go Bundle.

CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit. Can you spot the changes I made to this card? Here's the original created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists.

Here's another project that I CASEd from page. I used the Flowers of Beauty dies to do cut the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper to embellish this card after weaving cardstock through the cut slots. While demonstrating this card, I wasn't sure where to put the greeting. After the video, I ended up cutting the card front down and then adding an embossed greeting on the card base.

VIDEO: Sunday Stamp Along with Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Blooms

Last weekend marked the three year anniversary of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie -- the weekly video series that Mom and I started to share Stampin' Up! projects with you every Sunday! (Take a walk down memory lane and see some photos from the past three years.)

To mark the occasion, we did a special Sunday Stamp Along episode! I love doing Stamp Along episodes! Not only do Mom and I stamp together at the same time, we also invite you to stamp along with us! Here is the card that I designed for this week's video. I was inspired by one of the cards on page 22 of the Annual Catalog.

Julie’s Stamp Along Card Measurements 

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Card Base, scored at 4-1/4" 
• (3) 1" x 4-1/4" Designer Paper 
• 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" White/Vanilla 
• Stamp/Die Cut images to fit White/Vanilla 
• 1-3/4" Circle or shape for greeting 
• Ribbon/Embellishments as desired

VIDEO: CASEing Fun Fold Cards from the New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog

Whenever I am feeling stuck for card ideas, I turn to the Stampin' Up! Catalog and browse the project samples. I always feel so inspired to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) the cards created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists and make them my own. I recently CASEd all three projects on pages 120-121 in the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog that featured ideas for fun folds. Here are my versions of those cards.

Sweet Peas Fun Fold Card

I changed up the measurements of this fun fold card to use 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock instead of 12" x 12". I chose the new Shy Shamrock to showcase the cute images in the Sweet Pea stamp set. I love this stamp set!

Card Measurements

• 5-1/2" x 11" Shy Shamrock Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4", 7", 9-3/4"
• (2) 1" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (front)
• 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (middle)
• 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (back)

Labeled with Love "Peekaboo" Diagonal Fold Card

 
The first card was inspired by two swaps I received from the Great, Big Card Swap. This hot technique was also recently featured on Stampin' Up!'s social media with a project designed by Artisan Bree Renwick. 

To do the Blackout technique -- emboss a piece of white cardstock with a 3D Embossing Folder. (I used the Layered Florals Embossing Folder.) Use Stampin' Blends to color the DEbossed side of the cardstock -- that's the side that is indented. Take a black ink pad and apply it directly to the cardstock on the same side that you colored. 

One of the changes that I made after the livestream video was that I adhere the second half of the diagonal designer paper to the inside of the card base. The designer paper looks like when complete piece when the card is closed.

• 4-1/4" x 11" Pretty in Pink Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2"
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper, cut diagonally
• 3-1/4" x 9" Petunia Pop Cardstock, scored at 4-1/2"
• (2) 3" x 4-1/4" Basic White Cardstock

Labeled with Love Butterfly Spinner Card

This is a card you can really put your "two cents" into! Literally! Use two pennies, two dimes, two washers, or two punches circles to create this spinner card with the Curved Label Punch.

Card Measurements

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Summer Splash Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Thick Basic White Cardstock
