Stamp Along Video: Stampin' Up! Refreshed Beauty Card Ideas

Every few months, Mom and I do interactive Stamp Along episodes of Sunday Stamping with Susan and Julie. We have another one coming up in a couple weeks, so stay tuned for details! 

In our last Stamp Along video, we highlighted the December 2024 Special Release Designer Paper -- recolored versions of past favorite designer paper releases. Here are the cards that I created:

I paired the Refreshed Beautiful Designer Paper with Something for Everything Ephemera Pack from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog and customized the black and white images with Stampin' Blends to match the designer paper.

The measurements for all of the cards are the same, but I arranged each card a little differently.

• 5 ½” x 8 ½” Card Base, scored at 4-1/4" 
• 2 ½” x 4 ¾” Designer Paper 
• 2 ½” x 2 ½” Coordinating Cardstock or Designer Paper 
• 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” Coordinating Cardstock or Designer Paper 
• 1” x 2 ¾” Greeting 
• Stamp and/or Die Cut Focal Images Ribbon & Embellishments

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Everyday Skies Faux Window Card Tutorial

I consider amateur photography to be a hobby of mine and one of my favorite things to photograph are sunsets. The new Everyday Skies Designer Paper represents many of the colors and clouds that we see overhead through the year. Each pattern was hand painted by a Stampin' Up! Artists and converted to a 6" x 6" layout that we get to craft with! 

Mom and I recently featured this January 2025 Online Exclusive Suite in one of our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie videos. For this video, I created a Faux Window Card. 

First, I cut a card base from the Everyday Arches dies. I moved the left side of the side just over the fold of the card base so that it would not get completely cut off. Then I die cut a full size arch to go on top of the card and cover the fold. I cut the designer paper with a smaller arch die and then cut it into quarters and adhered it to the card front to look like a window pane. I used two different cloud patterns and two different images to accent the sky. Which one do you prefer?

Here is another card that I created with the Mixed Florals and Mixed Labels bundles. I love the way that incorporating black makes the colors from this designer paper really pop! I used Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Boho Blue to color the flowers to match the designer paper and then embossed the colored piece with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder to add textural to the focal image.

VIDEO: Faux Quilt Card with Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration Toadstool Gardens

When life hands you scraps -- make a quilt card! I originally shared this Faux Quilt Card during my 12 Days of Christmas video series in December. One of the gifts I included in the gift box was the Adhesive Sheets -- which make this scrap-friendly card a breeze!

Start by adhere the adhesive sheet to a piece of white cardstock. Then add 1/2" strips of designer paper in different directions to cover the entire piece. Optional (not shown) -- emboss the entire piece with an embossing folder like the Cute Crochet Embossing Folder when you're done!

Card Measurements:

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Melon Mambo Cardstock
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Basic White Cardstock
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Adhesive Sheets
