This or That? Dino Days Diagonal Easel Cards + VIDEO Tutorial

This or That? When I first made this Dino Days Diagonal Easel Card, I stamped the sentiment over the dinosaur, but then I was worried it was too crowded to I made another version with the sentiment on the inside. Now I can't decide which one I like better! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I actually created this card back in October during a Thursday Night Live Stamp Therpay, but forgot about it and got distracted with all of the August-December Mini Catalog goodies. Check out this video from October to learn how to make the Diagonal Easel Card. It's super easy! You'll be making this fun fold for every occasion!

• 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Card Base, score at 4-1/4" and diagonally from bottom fold to top outer corner
• 4" x 4" Designer Paper, cut diagonally
• 3/4" x 4-1/4" Designer Paper
• 1/4" x 4-1/4" White Cardstock

Sweet Soiree Easel Card + Video Tutorial

VIDEO: Fun Fold Series: Easel Card Tutorial + 3 Sneak Peek Cards

The Easel Card is a really easy fun fold card. Essentially, you fold the front of the card in half and then use something on the inside of the card to prop it open with Stampin' Dimensionals. I designed this Easel Card for my Stamp of the Month Club At Home With You card kit. This stamp set from the Annual Catalog is versatile with stamps for many occasions. I used the garland and wreath to make this one a Christmas card.

 

It's hard to tell in the photo, but I stamped the rectangular sign in the background on the Real Red cardstock to mimic bricks. The red cardstock is only attached to the bottom of the Tranquil Tide card front so that it stands up when the card it propped open.

Cardstock Measurements:

• 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Tranquil Tide cardstock, scored at 4-1/4" and 6-3/8"
• 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" Real Red cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White cardstock (inside)

VIDEO: Among the Branches Halloween Easel Card Tutorial

Every month, I try to design a special card as part of the card kit I make for my Stamp of the Month Club members. Last month, I featured the Among the Branches stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
