Snowflake Sentiments Christmas Sketch Card

I am cleaning out my Holiday Catalog samples and realized there are a few that I haven't posted yet! Back in August, I used my Pocket Full of Sketches card layout book to make 12 new cards featuring stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog. (See More Sketch Book-inspired cards.) Even though my Sketch Book is a few years old, the card layouts are timeless. Here is a card that I made with the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set. This is my go-to color combination for winter snow cards: Marina Mist and Night of Navy.

Do you ever feel "stuck" when you're making cards? You will love my Pocket Full of Sketches book! This pocket-sized swatchbook includes ten different card layouts with two color photos of real cards to inspire you. The measurements for each layout are included, so you can just follow those measurements instead of having to figure it out yourself. For more card layouts like this one, get a copy of my Pocket Full of Sketches book, volume 2 -- before they're gone! It would make a perfect stocking stuffing for your favorite stamping buddy! Ready for Christmas: Cookies for Santa Card

How cute is the dachshund in the Christmas sweater in the Ready for Christmas stamp set!?! I was so excited when we got this bundle as a pillow gift on the Thailand incentive trip in July.  I added some Quilted Christmas designer paper and ribbon to create this card based on one of the sketches from my Pocket Full of Sketches #2 book.

Check out more project ideas using the Ready for Christmas bundle in this video from Stampin' Up!.

Painted Harvest Thankful Card

There are a lot of gorgeous images on many of this year's Holiday Catalog designer papers. I especially love the sunflowers in the Painted Autumn paper. The design was expertly watercolored, so all I have to do it cut it out and use it on a card! I pulled out my Pocket Full of Sketches book for this easy card layout.
