Turtle & Co. Hoppy Hello Frog Card

This is one of the make and takes I provided at my Customer Appreciation Party. I tried to incorporate some of my favorite retiring products. This card features: Turtle & Co stamp set (Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to the Ronald McDonald House charities when you buy this stamp set.), Large Tag Punch (on sale for only $11.96), Stampin' Pastels, and the 2010-2012 In Colors Patterns Designer Paper.

I love the combination of Pear Pizazz and Old Olive. I'm really going to miss Pear Pizazz when it retires in another week! And that little frog?! He's just too cute! Click here to see some other projects made using the Turtle & Co. stamp set.

Here's how to make the really long tag. Start with a strip of cardstock that is 1-1/4" wide and stick the end into the Large Tag Punch like this:

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Turtle & Co, Jet Black Staz-On ink, Stampin' Pastels, Whisper White cardstock, Pear Pizazz Cardstock, 2010-2012 In Colors Patterns DSP, Old Olive Cardstock, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Large Tag Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch, Silver Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals

Turtle & Co. Snail Birthday Card

Third times a charm! I finally got a good picture of this card to share with you! This was one of our Stamp Club projects last month. The card layout is CASEd from the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. The inspiration was this Batty for You card on page 26. We used the new Simply Scored Tool to make the lolly...medallion...rosette...whatever you want to call it. The plaid Designer Series Paper is from the Domestic Goddess series. I've been calling this a "sleeper" DSP because I think people kind of write it off because of the domestic imagery, but the patterns on the other side are so bright and cheerful and relatively neutral for other themes. Check it out in my Online Store here.

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Turtle & Co., Pennant Parade (greeting), Calypso Coral marker & cardstock, Daffodil Delight marker, Pool Party marker & cardstock, Jet Black Staz-On Ink, Whisper White cardstock, Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper, Simply Scored Tool, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hoppy Birthday Envelope Gift Card Holder

I do my best to accommodate special requests from my workshop hostesses. So when Amy asked for a gift card holder -- and Stampin' Pastels -- and the Paper Crimper -- and the Turtle & Co., I took it as a challenge and actually managed to accomplish it all in one single project!

I love turning an ordinary envelope into something special. For this project, I went back to this design and folded the envelope in half to create the gift card holder. After you fold it in half, cut the envelope flap on the fold line. Tuck in the right side and seal the left side flat. Then, decorate.

The original greeting (from the Turtle & Co.) stamp set says: "sorry I"m late...happy birthday wishes", but I didn't want the first part, so I used the marker to just ink the second part. Since I was already inking with the marker, I also omitted the "a" in "happy" and wrote in an "o" after I stamped it to make it "hoppy birthday wishes"!

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Turtle & Co. Stamp set, Jet Black Staz-On ink, Basic Black marker, Peach Parfait ink/marker & cardstock, Wild Wasabi cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Versamark ink pad, Whisper White Envelopes, Just Add Cake DSP, Stampin' Pastels, Paper Crimper, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
