Altered Candy Tin

Last weekend, I went shopping and checked out the Christmas Clearance section. I honestly didn't expect to find much of anything left, but surprisingly there are quite a bit. It was mostly candy and food items and it was all 75% off. It's only the packaging that's Christmas-y, so I scooped up some brownie and cookie mixes and a few tins of candy. I loved this one. The only thing I had to cover up was the square label on the lid of the tin. So easy! Here's what it looked like before:

And after:I used the Full Heart Punch to make the petals of the flower (bottom points in the center). The center brad is one of the new Real Red Epoxy Brads from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Oh my word...this turned out AWESOME!!! Wish I had thought to peruse the Christmas clearance sections...I just avoided shopping for awhile, lol. ;-) tfs
