Fall Thanks Candy Wrapper

There are so many great new products in the new Holiday Mini Catalog. Of course new stamps, but also Big Shot dies, punches, rub-ons, designer paper, FABRIC, glitter, ribbon, buttons, lace.... If you haven't already, make sure to go check out! Click here to view the Holiday Mini Catalog online or view the new products in my Online Store.

Here's a project I designed for a make and take at our big demonstrator meeting last month using the new Candy Wrapper die for the Big Shot.

Supplies: Autumn Harvest, Fabulous Phrases, Early Espresso ink & cardstock, More Mustard ink, Cajun Craze ink & cardstock, Naturals Ivory cardstock, Autumn Spice DSP, Candy Wrapper Bigz die for the Big Shot, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals

The leaf comes from the Autumn Harvest stamp set from the big catalog. I inked it in More Mustard and then "rolled" the edges of the stamp on the Cajun Craze ink pad before stamping. This technique is called "Rock and Roll".

When I die cut the box, there were little squares (or diamonds depending on how you look at them) that came out of the holes. (You can see the shape outlined in bold on the image of the die below.) I figured the squares could be used for something too, so I made them into a border on this card. So it's not just a Candy Wrapper die, it's a mini square border die too! (wink!)

Supplies: All Holidays, Falling Leaves, Old Olive ink, Cajun Craze ink & cardstock, Early Espresso ink, More Mustard cardstock, Autumn Spice DSP, Candy Wrapper Bigz Die, 1/4" Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon

Ooooh. How very nice. Can't go wrong with a treat box. Liked the color combo and re-used squares on the card.
