Yesterday, I was designing cards with the Painted Harvest stamp set for my Stamp of the Month Club card kit. Sometimes to help get my creative juices flowing, I will use a sketch or look at other cards for inspiration. I remembered the Global Design Project Challenge this week is to CASE a card by Canadian Demonstrator Alison Okamitsu. I used a couple ideas from her card: the words stamped in the background and the main element in the middle with a bow in the right bottom corner -- but ended up changing the layout to be vertical.
[9/18/17: Edited to Add: Woo hoo!! My card received a Special Mention from the Global Design Project Team!]
I didn't end up using this card design for my card kit, but it did help get me rolling on my other card designs. Here's a little peak at my Painted Harvest Card Kit. I'll be posting close-up pics over the next week. Learn More about my Stamp of the Month Club for stampers in the United States.
