It's always a fun surprise when my Paper Pumpkin kit arrives in my mailbox! I look forward to this monthly creative escape! The July Kit, called Summer Nights, included 9 "Postcard-Style" cards and 9 Tealight bags to decorate your patio on a summer night! (Missed this kit? The refill it available in my Online Store!)If you follow me, you know I love to challenge myself to use the pieces of each kit to create my own projects. All together, I made 26 cards from the Summer Nights Kit and Add-On (including some duplicates). Today, I'm going to share the cards I made with the main kit and tomorrow I'll share the projects that I created with the Add-On Cards.
For all the cards that I am sharing today, I only added some colored cardstock for card bases. The rest of the pieces came from the Summer Nights kit!
I cut the postcard into strips for the card above and glued the entire thing to the card below. The postcards are 4" x 5-1/4" -- the perfect size for the card front to adhere directly to a standard size card.
I cut the tealight bag apart and cut it down to 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" for this card:
