Have you been watching Sunday Stamping with Susan and Julie? It's a new weekly video series where my mom (Susan LaCroix) and I share new projects. Since Mom and I live a few states apart (Michigan and Illinois), we don't get to stamp together as often as we'd like to. Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie is our weekly stamp session. We choose a new theme each week and each create a project or two to share with that theme. In our 6th episode, we focused on the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite -- one of my favorites from the new Annual Catalog.
Here is the card that I created for the video.
I used the 3D Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder and applied the Sahara Sand ink pad directly to the paper, lightly swiping across the cardstock to add distressing to the brick. I love the texture and depth created with this technique!
