SAB Spotlight: Stampin' Up! Beautifully Penned Pleated Paper Fold Tutorial

Today, I am spotlighting the black and white Beautifully Penned Designer Paper. This paper is based off the full color Hand Penned Designer Paper in the Annual Catalog. (Watch the video below to see how they compare.) I brought out an old Pleated Paper technique to showcase this beautiful paper. 

You may know this fold as the Tapestry Fold or Curtain Fold. It's really quite easy to make! Download and print my PDF tutorial to have the template and measurements handy the next time you sit down to make cards!

Measurements:

• 5 ½” x 8 ½” Card Base, scored at 4 ¼” 
• 3" x 8-3/8" Designer Paper 
• 1/2" x 4-1/4" Coordinating Cardstock 
• 2 ¾” x 3 ¾” Basic White Cardstock 
• 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White Cardstock (inside)

Directions: 

• Score the designer paper at 3", 4", 6", and 7". 
• Using your Paper Trimmer, line up one end of the paper at 1" and the opposite edge of the 3" score mark in the cutting line and make a diagonal cut. 
• Fold the paper back and forth to create a pleat and adhere to the bottom of the card.
