Here is another card that I created with the Mixed Florals and Mixed Labels bundles. I love the way that incorporating black makes the colors from this designer paper really pop! I used Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Boho Blue to color the flowers to match the designer paper and then embossed the colored piece with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder to add textural to the focal image.

2 Stampin' Up! Splendid Autumn Card Ideas + New Card Kit Available

Today I am sharing more Splendid Autumn projects because I just can't get enough of this beautiful designer paper! Do you have it yet? This designer paper is based on original art created by Stampin' Up! Artists, who were clearly inspired by gorgeous autumn colors like we are experiencing here in central Illinois.

I created this first card for my daughter Claire. I picked one of my favorite patterns and simply embossed the sentiment "You Are Loved" from the Softly Said stamp set.

Both cards use the same measurements, but the second card has an additional piece of foil cardstock that is 2-1/2" x 4" cut diagonally.

Card Measurements: 

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Card Base 
• 3-3/4" x 5" Designer Paper 
• 4" x 5-1/4" Layer

I used the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder to cut the leaf from Cherry Cobbler cardstock and added some copper accents with heat embossing.

4 Stampin' Up! Autumn Caring Leaves Projects + Video Tutorials

I just can't get enough of these gorgeous Autumn colors in central Illinois! Here are some of the MANY photos I have taken on my walks in the neighborhood.

While it's not quite the same as the leaves in person, I've been having fun with the Caring Leaves stamp set to create fall cards in my stamp room.

Caring Leaves is a two step stamp set with an outline image and then a solid image to fill in with color. I used Sponge Daubers to create multi-color leaves on this first card.

Watch the video replay. I started out trying the Baby Wipe Technique, but the stamp image was not solid enough to create a vivid image. The results with the sponge daubers were much better.

I used the new Forever Plaid Embossing Folder to add a textured background to this clean and simple gate fold card that I made last week during Sunday Stamping.

Card Measurements:

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Old Olive Cardstock, scored at 2-1/8"
• 2-3/4" x 4" Cajun Craze Cardstock, embossed
• 3" x 4-1/4" Basic White Cardstock

I love the soft watercolor imagery in the Winter Meadow Designer Paper. I'm so happy that it's going to carry over and continue to be available after the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog ends, but the coordinating agical Meadow bundle is retiring!
