Stampin' Up! offers Two-Tone Cardstock is ALL colors! This 12" x 12" cardstock is a white-core paper with two different tones of the same color printed on each side. It's lighter than Stampin' Up!'s traditional cardstock making it ideal to layer and for scrapbooking. And for one more day (July 9-11, 2025), you can save 20% on all Two-Tone Cardstock! Shop Now
In this week's livestream, I shared tips for using the Two-Tone Cardstock for card-making. Try these techniques at home using any Two-Tone Cardstock!

The first card using he new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Because Two-Tone Cardstock has a white cord, you can emboss and then use sand paper to gently rub over the embossed image and reveal the white cardstock to highlight the image. Here's my finished card:

After my video, Claire mused about what it would look like if we colored the flower, so I gave her my extra sanded piece and she colored with Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write Markers! I turned it into a card and added an extra layer of Very Vanilla behind the embossed cardstock. WOW!!!

I also used some sanding paper on the second card using the Prairie Grass cardstock. I started by crumpling the cardstock. Since it is lighter weight than regular cardstock, it's easier to crumple and add texture. I highlighted the texture by lightly sanding the cardstock again.

Prairie Grass Card Measurements:
  • 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock
  • 2" x 4-1/2" Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock
  • 2-1/2" x 3" Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • 1/2" x 3-1/2" Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock (greeting)
  • 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla Cardstock
Another fun technique with Two-Tone Cardstock is to tear and reveal the white core. I alternated between the light and dark sides of Basic Black Two-Tone Cardstock to create the layered background for this Halloween card. I love that it gives a "mummy" vibe -- perfect for our Spooky Sweet Designer Paper image!
