Last Chance Favorite: Stampin' Up! Today is the Day Memories & More Inspiration Flip Stand + 6 Card Ideas

Here is the finished project:

The Today is the Day Memories & More Card Pack is unique is that each card is different -- there are no doubles! I cut down the larger cards to be 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and added the smaller cards on top using Stampin' Dimesnionals. (Some of the smaller cards were trimmed down with the paper cutter to allow more of the background card to show.)

I was able to create 15 unique and different cards with inspiring messages to add with 1-1/4" loose leaf rings to the pedestal frame. To punch the holes, I created a template with a piece of cardstock and measured 3/4" from the top and 3/4" from each side and punched a hole in the crossection.

Although I did not cover the back side of my cards, several viewers suggested that you could add photos or a calendar to the back side of each card so that the stand could be viewed from both sides! What a great idea!

Stampin' Up! Today is the Day Memories & More Inspiration Flip Stand

I'm nearing the end of my December Daily Video Mini Series featuring the 12 Days of Christmas Gift Box. Each day, I am revealing one of the gifts that I included in the box and sharing a new sneak peek of new product that is coming out in the January-April 2023 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog.

Inspired by flip calendars that I have created in the past (see it here), I used the same 4" x 6" Pedestal Frame to hold a set of inspiring messages from the Today is the Day Memories & More Card Pack. This Memories & More Card pack is NOT a sneak peek and it's available to order right now!

What makes this Memories & More Card Pack unique is that each card is unique -- there are no doubles! 5 Stampin' Up! Santa Express Projects: Easy Gift Card Holder, Sampler Frame, Quick Cards

I wasn't a big fan of the Santa Express Suite when I first saw it in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I didn't care for the imagery, but mostly I just couldn't deal with the Petal Pink sky and background that was on almost every sheet. I bought the paper anyway because...well, I buy everything! And the B side of this paper pack is amazing!! I really love the traditional red and green patterns. I much prefer the Santa Express Memories & More Pack because the cards focus more on those traditional colors and don't feature much of the Petal Pink.

 
In this week's episode of Thursday Night Stamp Therapy, I created some quick and easy Gift Card Holders inspired by one I received from Terry Biggs for the Great, Big Card Swap.

The gift card holder has two parts: the sleeve and the slider. 

Card Measurements:

• 6" x 9-1/4" Designer Paper, scored at 2-1/2" and 6-3/4"; turn and score at 1/2"
• 4-1/8" x 6-3/8" Mint Macaron Cardstock, scored at 1"

Once you create the sleeve, use a punch to create a notch in the center of the open end. I used a hole punch to create a hole at the top of the slider (centered in the notch) and added a piece of ribbon to make it easy to pull out. To keep these "quick and easy", I used two Memories & More cards to decorate -- one on the front and one on the inside!

Here's another project that I created with the Santa Express Designer Paper and Memories & More Cards. This 5" x 7" framed art would make a cute addition to your holiday decor -- or create and give it as a gift! Each designer paper square is 2" x 2".

Last night when I was cleaning off my desk, I decided to make up a bunch of cards using the rest (or most of the rest) of my Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack. I love the way these turned out. I cut down a large 4" x 6" card to put on a regular card base. I added two Wonderful Snowflakes in the corners and then added the small 3" x 4" card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

As I was preparing this blog post, I realized that I haven't yet shared this next pair of cards. I designed this layout for a Mystery Stamping project with my team a couple months ago. The layout works both orientations: horizontal or vertical. Which one do you prefer?

• (2) 1" x 5-1/2" Santa Express Designer Paper
• 1-3/4" x 4-1/4" Real Red Cardstock

• 3" x 3" Basic White Cardstock Layer
• 3/4" x 2" Cardstock for Greeting (adjust size as needed)

Fall Framed Samplers Featuring Beauty of the Earth and Blackberry Beauty Designer Papers

I was so honored to be a planned stop on Toni Shaw and Jean Hoffman's stamping road trip earlier this month. Toni and Jean are from Pennsylvania and New York and drove half way across the country to visit stamping friends in the Midwest. We met online, so it was such a treat to get to visit with them in person and spend some time crafting.

We got out stamps, ink, and paper and designed our own fall samplers. We each made two 8' x 8" samplers, but they all turned out different. I forgot to get a close-up photo of all of them before we left for dinner.

Here are the samplers that I designed. Clean and simple! I used designer paper from Beauty of the Earth along with the Beauty of Tomorrow bundle for the stamps and die cut leaves. The Mossy Meadow cardstock is 8" x 8" and the squares are 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" layered on to 3" x 3" squares.

For the second one, I used the Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper and Ephemera Pack. The sentiment on this one comes from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set from the Annual Catalog. The base is 8" x 8" Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. Other measurements: (Left Side) 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, 2" x 3-1/4" Designer Paper (Right Side) 1" x 3-1/4" Designer Paper, 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Designer Paper

Toni and Jean brought me an amazing gift -- a "taste of home" and handmade gift bag, which I plan to repurpose in my craft room! We are using the Spiedie Sauce for our steak dinner tonight! I can't wait to try it! Thank you, Toni and Jean for blessing us with such a wonderful gift and for coming to visit!
