Simply Adorned Charmed Class

My upline, Kim Peck, gave me this gorgeous charm necklace as a gift for helping with the Spring Into Stamping meeting last month. The photos just don't do it justice! The charm inserts are made on Shimmer White cardstock and have just the right touch of glimmer and bling.

Join me on Thursday, May 31st at 7:00 pm to create your own set of three charm inserts for a Simply Adorned Necklace (included in class) using the Charmed stamp set. We'll also make a coordinating tag for the gift box, so you'll be all set to give this beautiful gift. Cost is $28. Click here to RSVP and register.

Live to far away or can't attend? Purchase a completed set for $28 + S/H.

Simply Adorned Bracelet

In addition to the necklace chains and charms, the new Simply Adorned line also includes bracelets! The small charms are available in circles and squares and look great with just one charm on a bracelet, or a whole bunch!

The dimensions of the image on the inside (both for circle and square) is about 1/2". The 1/2" Circle Punch is perfect for the circle charms. For the square, I just eyeball it and cut with scissors after I stamp my image.

The Tiny Tags set has 17 perfectly tiny images and sentiments that can be used with the Simply Adorned line of charms--or just to make a tiny project! And it coordinates with the Medium Jewelry Tag punch. I just love stamp sets with coordinating punches!

Supplies: Tiny Tags, So Saffron cardstock, Ruby Red marker, Always Artichoke marker, 1/2" Circle Punch, Simply Adorned Charm & Bracelet

Simply Adorned 1" Charm Swap

I participated in a swap for Simply Adorned charms. I can't wait to get them back and see what everyone else came up with. This was a prototype for my 1" charm swap. I forgot to take a picture of the final swap before I mailed it. I ended up dropping the pleated cardstock and stuck with a simple rub-on matched with the flower.

Supplies: Eggcellent Eggs Kit (rub-on and rhinestone), Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry cardstock, Palm Plum cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Trio Flower Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, Mini Glue Dots

Create and Inspire Charm Insert

I am participating in a charm swap with some other demonstrators. Actually, it's a swap for the charm inserts to go inside our new Simply Adorned charms. These charms are so small that it's kind of a challenge to come up with some creative layering. Not a bad challenge, definitely a fun one! Here's what I came up with for one of my swaps. What do you think?

This is for a 1" x 1-1/4" charm. Click here to see the other charm insert I designed and for more info about the Simply Adorned line.

Supplies: Friends 24-7, Define Your Life, Versamark ink, Chocolate Chip ink, Kraft cardstock, Ruby Red marker & cardstock, Old Olive marker, Very Vanilla cardstock, 2-Way Glue, Dazzling Diamonds

Simply Adorned Monogram Charm Insert

I'm so excited that the new Simply Adorned Jewelry line is now available! You can order the necklace charms (except the largest one) and chain and the bracelet charms and chain in my Online Store. Click here for more information about the Simply Adorned product line. Earlier this week, I created my first charm insert for my 1" x 1-1/4" necklace.

Here's a close-up of the charm:

I didn't take a picture of the back, but there is a window there too, so I put in a full piece of the same striped DSP that I used on the front. I love the way it turned out! And how fun that you can change out the inserts to match the occasion, mood, or clothes you're wearing! I used the Tiny Tags stamp set for the background image and embellished with rub-ons and self-adhesive rhinestone from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit (#117179, $9,95; it's not just for eggs!!). I choose the bright colors for this design from the little piece of DSP I used from the Sale-a-bration Good Neighbor pack.

Supplies: Tiny Tags, Just Perfect Alphabet, Rose Red ink & cardstock, Pumpkin Pie cardstock, Old Olive ink, Whisper White cardstock, Eggcellent Eggs Kit, Good Neighbor DSP (SAB), Trio Flower Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, Simply Adorned 1" x 1-4/" Rectangle Charm, Simply Adorned 24" Chain
