It's time for another Control Freaks Blog Tour! Whether you came from
LeeAnn Greff's blog or you're just arriving -- welcome!! I am excited to be a stop on your inspiration journey this month. Today, we're sharing ideas for Valentine's Day and highlighting products from the upcoming Sale-a-bration brochure.
(Sale-a-bration starts on January 28th and lasts through the end of March. During that time, you can get a free exclusive gift for every $50 that you order. It's my favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year!!)
The projects that I am sharing today use the new "Monster Hugs" cards: Boy #
132162, Girl #132163. These cute little valentines come in packages of 18 and are only available until January 27th (the day BEFORE Sale-a-bration), so make sure to snatch them up before then! (You can visit my Online Store by clicking "Shop Now" in the left column.)
For my first project, I adhered the monster to a card for a quick valentine.
I "freakin'" love this card! When you open up the monster's arms, it says "THIS much". I put the greeting on the adhesive strip in the middle of the monster that is intended to hold candy in place. I printed the greeting on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Word Window punch.
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Yippee Skipee stamp set, Midnight Muse ink & cardstock, Summer Starfruit cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Monster Hugs Boy, Word Window Punch, Owl Punch (heart), Red Glimmer Paper, Stampin' Dimensionals
The next project was inspired by a project shared at Leadership Conference. I made a custom size box to fit in the monster's arms. Isn't it cute!?!
I'm working on video and print tutorials to share with you, so be sure to come back and visit me again tomorrow to get all the dimensions and instructions to make these Monster Hug Boxes.
Stampin' Up! Supplies: You're Lovely (SAB), Jet Black Staz-On Ink Pad, Summer Starfruit cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, Monster Hugs (Boy & Girl), Hearts A Flutter Framelits (Big Shot), Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
Well, that's all I have for you! Thanks for visiting! Now it's time to check out
