Hoppy Birthday Envelope Gift Card Holder

I do my best to accommodate special requests from my workshop hostesses. So when Amy asked for a gift card holder -- and Stampin' Pastels -- and the Paper Crimper -- and the Turtle & Co., I took it as a challenge and actually managed to accomplish it all in one single project!

I love turning an ordinary envelope into something special. For this project, I went back to this design and folded the envelope in half to create the gift card holder. After you fold it in half, cut the envelope flap on the fold line. Tuck in the right side and seal the left side flat. Then, decorate.

The original greeting (from the Turtle & Co.) stamp set says: "sorry I"m late...happy birthday wishes", but I didn't want the first part, so I used the marker to just ink the second part. Since I was already inking with the marker, I also omitted the "a" in "happy" and wrote in an "o" after I stamped it to make it "hoppy birthday wishes"!
