Bordering on Romance Diorama Card

My card for today is another diorama card. Did you see the Send Me Soaring Diorama Card I posted the other day? Click here to check it out. I like this one even more and unfortunately, the photos just do not do this card justice. I used Dazzling Details on the flowers and they are so soft and sparkly. I also cut out the flowers and layered a few of them on dimensionals, of the flowers really pop more than them photo shows.

Watch my video tutorial to learn how to make a diorama card at home. The video features the Send Me Soaring stamp set, but the dimensions and assembly of the card in the same.

Stampin Up Supplies: Bordering on Romance, Loving Thoughts, Basic Gray ink pad, Pretty in Pink marker, Pink Pirouette marker & cardstock, Certainly Celery marker, Whisper White cardstock, Twitterpated Designer Paper, Dazzling Details, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Rhinestone Brads, 1/16" Hole Punch, Sticky Strip, Stampin Dimensionals

Double Punched Blossom Card Tutorial

Two videos in a row! Don't expect this every day, but I wanted to share this card before the Occasions Mini Catalog ends tomorrow. If you haven't already ordered it, you definitely want to get the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom Punch. Click here to see other projects using this stamp set.

Today's project was designed by Robin Armbrecht for our dowline meeting this month. I changed up the colors and the designer paper, but otherwise, I CASEd it from Robin, Thanks, Robin!

I don't remember what Robin called this card, or if it even had a name, so I'm called it the Double Punched Blossom Card. Click here to see the PDF tutorial or scroll down to see the video tutorial to learn to make this card yourself.

Summer Smooches My Digital Studio Hybrid Card

This hybrid card created with My Digital Studio is the fourth project in my Summer Smooches class series. Creating cards with My Digital Studio is so easy and the results are stunning!

Can you tell which elements on this card are real and which are digital?

I stamped the greeting in Basic Black ink, added a Daffodil Delight Boho Blossom punch and Summer Smooches Fabric Brad to the center flower, and put the card front on the Rich Razzleberry card base. Everything else is digital!

Summer Smooches Decor Stencil Cards

I am loving the new Summer Smooches Sneak Peek Suite! The Fabric Brads (which just sold out yesterday) and the Decor Stencil will not be available in the new catalog, so make sure to order it by April 30. Here are some quick cards I made with the Summer Smooches Decor Stencil.

The Stencil comes with the negative piece as well, so I used it for this second card and sponged around the edges. (Tip: A little Dotto or removable adhesive will keep the stencil still while you are sponging the ink.)

These mini cards are part of the Summer Smooches Class that I announced yesterday. Click here for details.

I used a piece of the Summer Smooches Designer Paper on the flaps of the Mini Envelopes to coordinate with the cards. And here's a tip for rounding your corners -- use the 3/4" Circle Punch! Just slip the corner in and punch!

Summer Smooches Purse Die Basket

Here's another make and take that I designed for the Spring Into Stamping meeting. The original concept of using the Petite Purse die to make a basket is from Betty Traciak. I found her project on Stampin' Connection -- a sharing website just for demonstrators!

We'll be making this project in my upcoming Summer Smooches Sneak Peek class on Friday, May 4th. Click here for details. If you can't attend or live too far away, you can get the class kit "to go" and make the projects -- including this one -- at home!

The Summer Smooches promotion is almost over! There's only one week left during this sneak peek to get the Petite Purse Die, Bright Blossoms stamp set, and Summer Smooches Designer Paper. Click here to Shop Now in my Online Store. Click here to see more Summer Smooches projects.

Summer Smooches Blossom Card

What a whirlwind weekend! It was our annual Spring Into Stamping meeting on Saturday and I had the honor of once again designing and preparing the make and takes for 100 demonstrators. A special shout out to my helpers: Libby, Margo, Debbie, Wiko, Beverly, Chris, and Mary! I lost track of our total number of man hours this past week, but it was a lot! I seem to forget each year just how much work it is.

And unfortunately, this year, I was not able to stay for the entire meeting so I could be with my family (including all of my siblings and in-laws from out of town) to celebrate Thomas' First Communion.

Needless to say, I'm exhausted! I had intended to get some work done tonight, but instead prompting fell asleep in the recliner. I promise I have more to share, but for tonight, I'm going to just share one of the Summer Smooches projects we made at Spring Into Stamping this year.

I used the small tulip stamp and stamped it in each petal of the Blossom Petal Punch. It's a simple, but sweet card!

Supplies: Bright Blossoms stamp set, Petite Pairs stamp set, Island Indigo ink & cardstock, Daffodil Delight ink & cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Summer Smooches Designer Paper, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, Blossom Punch, 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Stampin' Dimensionals

Send Me Soaring: Turn Kites into Flowers

Here's another card that I'm sending with the April "Stamp of the Month" Club. I wanted to do something nontraditional with the kites to show how versatile this stamp set can be, so I used the kites as petals of and leaves of a flower. I also used one of the kites to create a pattern down the side of the card.

Did you check out the samples in the sneak peek of Stampin' Success here? I love how they used the kites to create a plaid pattern. Click here to check it out (the link is at the bottom of the post).

Retiring or Not? Lovely As a Tree

One of the cards we made at my Manly Man card class earlier this week used the Lovely As a Tree stamp set, and of course, the big question was: will it retire? Lovely As a Tree is the oldest stamp set in the catalog, dating back to 2001. It's a classic and one that I got in my Demonstrator Starter Kit 10 years ago. Do you have this stamp set already? (Leave me a comment if you do!)

Well, the Retired List is here and we have our answer -- Lovely As a Tree is NOT retiring!!

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Lovely As a Tree, Loving Thoughts, Early Espresso ink & marker, Always Artichoke marker & cardstock, Certainly Celery marker, Crumb Cake marker, Very Vanilla Textured Cardstock, Well Worn Designer Paper, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Color Spritzer Tool, Crumb Cake Seam Binding

Summer Smooches Grateful Card

Here's another Summer Smooches card from Stampin' Up! (I promise this is the last one for a little while. I have some cards from my Manly Man class to share next!)

Honestly, I can't get enough of the Summer Smooches! It's just so bright and fun! Click here to see these sneak peek products in my online store.

This card uses the Summer Smooches Designer Fabric. I'm not much of a sewer...in fact, my hubby is the one to sew buttons back on at our house! But this lolly (aka rosette) looks easy enough for even me to handle! You could get a similar look by using the designer paper and Designer Rosette die too.

Supplies: Pursuit of Happiness, Lucky Limeade marker & cardstock, Real Red marker & cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Summer Smooches Designer Fabric, Summer Smooches Designer Brads, Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, Blossom Bouquet Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch

Summer Smooches Thanks 3x3 Card

Here's another Summer Smooches card from Stampin' Up! I love the way the used the little leaves and stamped repeatedly to create taller flowers. Notice the Decorative Label punch? They cut it in half and have it behind the sides of the flowers. It adds just the right pop of color without overwhelming this 3x3 card!
