If you have been following me, you probably know that my mom, Susan La Croix, is a demonstrator too. She live a couple states away, so we don't get to stamp together as often as we like. While visiting over spring break in March, Mom joined me for Thursday Night Stamp Therapy and we had so much fun that we thought we'd do it again! We recorded a special video on Mother's Day and shared projects using the new Expressions in Ink Suite from the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.
I had so much fun created with this suite. The designer paper is GORGEOUS! Since Mom created a series of "simple" to "avid" cards, I did the same. I actually started with the "over the top" card and then worked backgrounds to create a similar card that was "simple stamping" and one in the middle that was "stepped up". Which of these three cards is YOUR style? Leave a comment and let me know!
Here's another pair of projects. I made the "stepped up" version first and then created a "simple stamping" card with the same layout. Simple Stamping is great for new stampers who don't have a lot of tools in their collection. You can create beautiful cards with just stamps, ink, and paper.
Watch our video on YouTube to see what more projects that we created with this suite!
