Sure Do Love You Valentine Card

I don't usually get valentine stamp sets, but I bought this bundle for the awesome box die. I'll be doing a video soon to share some ideas with that die. I am in love with the Painted with Love designer paper, so it was excited to pull it out when I created this valentine card for my team's Weekend Card Challenge last weekend. We have so much fun on our team Facebook group page! Last Friday, we did a Facebook Live Pajama Party with live video demonstrations with new products and card ideas. At the end of the night, I gave them cardstock measurements for my Beautiful Peacock card and asked them to use any colors, any paper, any stamp set, any tools, etc to create their own card. Here is the card that I made with those same measurements.

7 Card Ideas with Day at the Beach Stamp Set

I just got back from my trip to California. I had such a fantastic time! When it wasn't raining, we spent some time at the beach, but it wasn't exactly flip flops and popsicle weather! Check out photos from my trip.

Stampin' Up! Cool Treats You're Sweet Card

I can't get enough of this Carried Away designer paper from the Sale-a-bration brochure! I love the colors and patterns. I thought this pattern was perfect to go with the new Cool Treats stamp set from the Occasions Catalog. In hindsight, I wish I had put the designer paper on the other way...so that the "bumps" were up like the popsicle, not down.

 

I cut the bottom 1" off the card front and added a piece of 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" Designer Paper on the inside of the card so that it would have a little bit of a different opening.

Lift Me Up Hot Air Balloons Sampler Frame

I designed this sampler frame for our team stamp and share meeting in Springfield last month. It's super easy thanks to the coordinating Carried Away Designer Paper. You'll need five 2" x 2" squares of this fun paper. (It's one of the FREE gift options during Sale-a-bration!) Layer those on 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" Whisper White squares.

The big square is 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" Mint Macaron and 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" Whisper White. I used the coordinating Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits to create the hot air balloons. The detailed thinlit cuts perfectly with the Precision Base Plat. The colored cardstock underneath is cut with the thinlit dies that perfectly fit in each section of the hot air balloon. I recommend using the Fine Tip Glue to glue them to the detailed die cut.

Finish off the sampler on a 8" x 8" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. I purchased the Studio Decor frame at Michael's. It comes in a four pack for $20.
