Stampin' Up! Sparkling Snowflake Tag Topper Treat Box + VIDEO

I don't often make 3D projects, but when it came time to feature the Sparklling Snowflakes bundle for Sunday Stamping, I couldn't get this project off my mind. I love using Tag Topper Punches to create quick and easy gift packaging and the Sparkling Snowflakes punch makes this one perfectly festive for winter holidays!

The base of the box is made of three pieces: one long piece for the front and back and two small side pieces that hold it together. The finished project is 2" x 3-1/2" x 11" and will perfectly hold two Ghirardelli chocolates squares.

Projecte Measurements

• 2” x 8” Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 3-1/2” and 4-1/2”
• (2) 1” x 2” pieces scored at 1/2” and 1-1/2” for the sides

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Daffodil Daydream Cut Apart Card Tutorial

I love how easy this fun fold card is! Start with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock and score in half at 5-1/2". Cut the card front 2" from the score line. Cut the remaining piece at 2'. Use the 2" piece to make the tag that bridges the top and bottom of the card.

Cut Apart Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 11" Card Base, scored at 5-1/2"
• ---Cut at 7-1/2" and then cut remaining piece at 2" (so that you end up 2" x 4" and 1-1/2" x 4")
• 1-3/4" x 4" Designer Paper 
• 1-1/4" x 4" Designer Paper [can be same or different (coordinating) pattern]
• 4" x 5-1/4" White or Vanilla (unless card base is white)

As is often the case lately, I have been inspired by cards that I've received for the Great, Big Card Swap! Carrie Coss sent in a love-themed Waterfall Card in January (see it here). What a fun blast from the past! It had been a few years since I made one, but I found the original template (see below) and made my own using the Sale-a-Bration Awesome Otters stamp set and Simply Marbleous Designer Paper.

I used the Fancy Tag Topper Punch for the strip that you pull and as you do, each image flips up to reveal the one underneath. I used the Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to color these cute otters. 7 Last Chance Zany Zebras Projects + Cut Apart Card Video Tutorial

Yesterday, I shared the Zany Zebras Easel Card and it reminded me of the Zany Zebras Cut Apart Card that I made in the fall that I never posted. I made this monochromatic card in several of the In Colors. Which color do you like best: Misty Moonlight, Just Jade, or Magenta Madness?

Here are the supplies you'll need to create this card. 

•  4-1/4" x 11" Card Base 
• 1-3/4" x 4" Designer Paper 
• 1-1/4" x 4" Designer Paper [can be same or different (coordinating) pattern]
• 4" x 5-1/4" White or Vanilla (unless card base is white) 
• Tag Topper Punch OR Triple Banner Punch (optional) 
• Stamps, Ink, cardstock scraps, punches, ribbon, embellishments to decorate a 2" x 4" vertical space 
• Paper Trimmer
