As Seen on TV: Video Tutorial for Spring Basket

I had the pleasure of filming a Creative Corner segment that will air on ciLiving today. (For those of you who live outside of Central Illinois (ci), ciLiving is our CBS affiliate afternoon talk show that shares human interest and community stories.) I demonstrated how to make cardstock baskets that would be perfect for spring gift-giving. Whether you make them for Easter or table favors for a Mother's Day tea, these cute little baskets are sure to be a hit!

Directions:

1. Score a 6" x 6" piece of cardstock at 2" and 4". Rotate the cardstock and score again at 2" x and 4".
2. Cut both score lines up to the perpendicular score line on opposite sides.
3. Fold on all score lines.
4. Decorate with 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" Designer Paper squares in each corner.
5. Fold the sides of the basket up and secure one end of the 1/2" x 11" handle with the Handheld Stapler. Do the same on the other side.
6. Cover the staple with ribbon or other embellishment.
