Sale-a-Bration Favorite: Stampin' Up! Driving By Diagonal Easel Card + Video

Have you been enjoying my Project Playback series on YouTube? This new weekly video series highlights some of my favorite projects shared in the past. This week's episode looks back to the Diagonal Easel Card. See More Samples.

I remade this fun fold card using some Sale-a-bration favorites -- the Driving By stamp set and Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper. I love the bright colors and fun image on this card and plan to send it to a friend to say "hello"!

There's not a lot of room to write inside since half of the inside panel is visible when the card is displayed, so I added a diagonal piece of Basic White cardstock and the other half of the designer paper to the inside.

Diagonal Easel Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Card Base, score at 4-1/4" and diagonally from bottom fold to top outer corner
• 4" x 4" Designer Paper, cut diagonally
• 1" x 4-1/4" Designer Paper
• 3/8" x 4-1/4" Accent Strip
• Punched & Die Cut pieces

3 Stampin' Up! Celebrate Everything Projects | Fun Folds | Video Tutorial

Did you know that you can choose free Stampin' Rewards when you order over $150? Stampin' Rewards (aka Hostess Benefits) start at 10% -- or $15 when you order $150. You can choose any free product with your Stampin' Rewards, but make sure you check out the host-exclusive Stampin' Rewards in the Annual Catalog and the Mini Catalog because you can ONLY get those products when you order $150 or more or host a party!

(As a side note, if you are ordering over $150, DO NOT use the host code or you will forfeit your extra freebies. Don't worry -- you'll still get your free project kit and gift from me!)

For today's projects, I used the Celebrate Everything Host Designer Paper from the July-December 2022 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. This jumbo pack of paper includes 48 sheets -- 4 each of 12 different patterns with bright colors and images to celebrate...everything!

The first card was inspired by a swap card from Ruth Bingle. I love this Mini Accordion Fold. I paired images from the Decorated with Happiness stamp set to coordinate with the ornaments in the designer paper.

Decorated with Happiness Accordion Fold Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 9-3/4" Poppy Parade Cardstock, scored at 3-1/4" and 6-1/2"
• 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Granny Apple Green Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
• (2) 3" x 4" Basic White Cardstock
• 3" x 4" Designer Paper
• 1" x 2" Crushed Curry Cardstock

I have made Diagonal Easel Cards before (see more ideas), but it was a Great, Big Card Swap card that inspired me to combine this fun fold with a book binding fold. I used the Cottage Wreaths bundle to create this autumn card.

I popped up one leaf on the inside so the easel would have something to prop up against.

Cottage Wreath Diagonal Easel Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 11" Shaded Spruce Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2" and 6-3/4", then score from inside bottom to outside top corner
• 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" Designer Paper
• 1" x 4" Designer Paper
• (2) 3" x 3" Basic White Cardstock
• 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Crushed Curry Cardstock

Even though I made this one for Halloween, you can use the Mini Pocket Envelope Die to create quick treats or gift card holders for any occasion!

Watch the replay of Thursday Night Stamp Therapy from October to follow along as I create all three of these projects and share more project ideas using the Celebrate Everything Designer Paper.

This or That? Dino Days Diagonal Easel Cards + VIDEO Tutorial

This or That? When I first made this Dino Days Diagonal Easel Card, I stamped the sentiment over the dinosaur, but then I was worried it was too crowded to I made another version with the sentiment on the inside. Now I can't decide which one I like better! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I actually created this card back in October during a Thursday Night Live Stamp Therpay, but forgot about it and got distracted with all of the August-December Mini Catalog goodies. Check out this video from October to learn how to make the Diagonal Easel Card. It's super easy! You'll be making this fun fold for every occasion!

Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Card Base, score at 4-1/4" and diagonally from bottom fold to top outer corner
• 4" x 4" Designer Paper, cut diagonally
• 3/4" x 4-1/4" Designer Paper
• 1/4" x 4-1/4" White Cardstock

This month's theme is thank you and I will be sending these cards to two of my customers who placed an order in my Online Store in January!
