2 Whale of a Time Suite Cards: Landscape vs Portrait

I just can't get enough of the Whale of a Time Suite! See more Whale Done Projects. I wanted to create some projects that did NOT use the whale and punch. I created these cards during a virtual stamp session with my Advisory Board Alumni friends. Thanks to Sharon Armstrong for leading our virtual stamping session! 

Both of these cards use the same measurements -- I just made one horizontal and one vertical. Which one do you prefer? Leave me a comment and let me know!

VIDEO: Whale Done Wiper Card Tutorial

I always try to include a fun fold in my Stamp of the Month Club card kits. For May, I thought it would be fun to make a wiper card during the Honey Bee stamps. I designed the card and somehow figured out the wiper part...but then I couldn't get it to work the same way when I tried it again. haha Has that ever happened to you? I spent some more time tweaking it and making it easy to duplicate. In the meantime, the Honey Bee stamp set retired! So I had to create a new version of the wiper using a new stamp set. Here is my Whale Done version of the Wiper Card.

The card measurements are all the same as the Honey Bee Wiper Card that I featured in my May Stamp of the Month Club Kit.

I love the Whale of a Time Suite from the Annual Catalog and I keep finding excuses to use it almost every week in my Thursday Night Stamp Therapy. Here's a Double Z Fold I made earlier this month. I love that the designer paper does most of the work!

VIDEO: Whale Done Bridge Card

I am obsessed with the Whale of a Time Designer paper! There are some many beautiful patterns -- and some that are ready-to-go scenes like this one. Just stamp and punch a whale and the card it half done! 

I created this Bridge Card to highlight the panels of designer paper. I love that it folds flat to mail in a regular Medium Envelope!

Stampin' Up! Whale Done "Faker Shaker" Card + Video

Thanks to Rosemarrie Gonzalez for reminding me of this fun technique during her On Stage @Home presentation. Using a Clear Envelope to create a shaker card is quick and easy!

I used the Whale of a Time Designer Paper to make this fun card. Trim the designer paper down to 4" x 5-1/4" and slide it into a Clear Envelope. Add some loose sequins and seal the envelope. Wrap it tightly on the long edge and tape the access to the back. Add to the card front with Tear & Tape and decorate the top.
