A swap card from my team member Anna Masternak reminded me of this fun technique. The last time I did this was five years ago with the Woodland Embossing Folder (see projects here), but it works with any embossing folder!
The technique is simple: Ink up the "flat" side of an embossing folder and emboss the cardstock. I used Seasside Spray ink to make this card. I love the way the snowflakes "pop"!
When you're done, simply rinse the embossing folder in the sink and dry it off. I added a heat embossed greeting and some of the gorgeous new Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems.

Beautiful card, Julie! Blue seems to always be my go-to Christmas color. I really try to use red & green but usually decide on blue.

Thanks for the great video. I was wanting to see the e.f. up close. Ha, I often go to put the card front on wrong on my card base and then I notice in time. Only takes a few times of doing it wrong to catch myself before I do it now.
