Inspired by my team member Pam DiNunzio who shared this fun fold card with our team, I went searching for a tutorial and found one over at Mixed Up Craft. The original Tower Card is a larger card and I wanted to make one that was smaller, taking only a half sheet of cardstock and able to fit inside an A2 envelope (that's a regular Stampin' Up! Medium envelope).
I also changed it to have fewer cuts, which gave me an opportunity to add some designer paper at the top and bottom. I shared a Magenta Madness version earlier this week. Here's the one I created for my video tutorial:
The cutting is a little tedious, but the measurements are pretty simple -- everything is in 1" increments from the ends.
- 5-1/2" x 8-1/4" Cardstock
- Long Side at the Top: Score at 1", 2", 6-1/4", and 7-1/4"
- Short Side at the Top: Make short cuts from 1" to 3" and 5-1/4" to 7-1/4" at 1", 2", 3-1/2", and 4-1/2"
- (2) 3/4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
- (2) 3/4" x 4" Designer Paper
- 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" White
- 3" x 3" Designer Paper
This photo better shows the dimension of the card. It stands well on its own to display.
Again, this template is almost identical to the modified version, it just has extra cuts. Here are the measurements:
- 5-1/2" x 8-1/4" Cardstock
- Long Side at the Top: Score at 1", 2", 3", 5-1/4", 6-1/4", and 7-1/4"
- Short Side at the Top: Make short cuts from 1" to 3" and 5-1/4" to 7-1/4" at 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2", 3", 3-1/2", 4", and 4-1/2"
- (2) 3/4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
- 2" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
- 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" White
- 3" x 3" Black

These are super cute. Thanks for sharing the directions. I make cards for friends in assisted living centers and they can stand these up to enjoy them!
I like your version of the tower-cards, both are just lovely.
Watched the video and thank you for doing this.
