5 Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas Cards Ideas + Sunday Stamping Video

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is a week away and the Traditions of Christmas Suite is on the Last Chance List -- with almost all of the individual products 10% off while supplies last! Here is a an off-center gate fold card that I designed for a Sunday Stamping video. I tried to incorporate as many products from the suite as I could -- designer paper, embossing folder, stamps, dies, ribbon, and sequins.

The Painterly Pears Suite includes another gorgeous designer paper hand-painted and created by Stampin' Up! Artists. I used a strip of the designer along with the coordinating stamp set to create this card.

Painterly Pears Card Measurements:

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Old Olive Cardstock
• 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" Painterly Pears Designer Paper
• Die Cut Label Basic White
• 2-5/8" x 3-1/4" Secret Sea Cardstock
• 3/4" x 1-7/8" Darling Duckling Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock (inside)

Make sure to watch the unboxing video to see me create this card and watch my tip for using Sponge Daubers to create the dynamically colored pear image!

The next card uses the Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper to create the backdrop for the simply stamped Prairie Grass images.

Prairie Grass Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 11" Cajun Craze Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2"
• 3" x 5-1/2" Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper
• 1" x 5-1/2" Early Espresso Cardstock
• Labeled with Love Punch - Basic Beige Cardstock

This card perfectly represents where I live -- Central Illinois. We live on the edge of down with fields of corn across the street and prairie grass on the corner that I pass on my walks. Here is a photo that I took last month. It's just missing the butterflies!

Last Chance Favorites | 5 Stampin' Up! Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder Card Ideas + 2 Video Tutorials

One of my favorite July 2024 Online Exclusives from Stampin' Up! is the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. I'm a sucker for anything "autumn" and these hybrid bundles are so cool! You can put the die right inside the embossing folder and emboss and die cut at the same time!

The Changing Leaves stamp set and Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies were recently added to the Last Chance Clearance Rack, so if you don't have them yet, now is the time!! Get huge discounts on these favorites while supplies last! Shop the Last Chance Clearance Rack

Here's a card that I created using sponge daubers to create a multi-color autumn leave.

Tip: To create the tie-dye technique on this leaf, use Sponge Daubers to apply ink to the inside of your embossing folder (on the logo side). Spritz with water. Emboss and die cut at the same time with the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Watch the replay of my 12 Days of Christmas Unboxing Video to see this technique in action:

Mom and I also featured the Changing Leaves Bundle in a Sunday Stamping video last year. I used all the elements of the bundle to create the Mossy Meadow & Old Olive version of the card in the video and then shared the gold version as a bonus sample. Which one do you prefer? Leave a comment and let me know!

Watch the replay of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie to see this bundle in action plus bonus card ideas that I received as swaps from other demonstrators!
