6 Stampin' Up! Sunrise Sailing Project Ideas + Free PDF Download

Hybrid Embossing Folders have dies that fit right into the embossing folder so you can die cut and emboss at the same time! I love these dynamic, textured images so I had to get the Sunrise Sailing Bundle when it was released as an Online Exclusive product in May 2025. Here is the card that I created to highlight this new bundle for a recent Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video.

I used Blending Brushes to highlight details of the embossing folder on my card. That technique was inspired by projects that were designed by Stampin' Up! in a free class handout highlighting blending techniques.

5 Stampin' Up! Lily Pond Lane Card Ideas & Rubber Band Brayer Technique

The first time I played with the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper was last spring when I brought home a package as a door prize after OnStage. I created these cards for an episode of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie. 

I wanted to do a fun technique so I pulled this brayer technique out of the archives! It still works with the new brayer -- just remove the silicone brayer from the handle and wrap rubberbands around the barrel. Run the brayer across an ink pad to pick up ink and then roll it across a piece of cardstock. I used Balmy Blue ink and cardstock for these cards.

I used the 2-3/8" Circle Punch to create the window in the first card and then used that circle for the focal point of my second card.

I didn't have the coordinating Charming Duck Pond bundle when I made these cards, so I used using images from the designer paper and added greetings from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder. I used the brayer (without the rubber bands) to ink up the embossing folder and add definition to the sentiments before die cutting. There is one single die that fits into the embossing folder and die cuts all of the sentiments at once! I used Stampin' Blends to color inside the lines of the sentiments. The Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder includes ten different sentiments, so here are a few more card ideas using other greetings and the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Everyday Skies Faux Window Card Tutorial

I consider amateur photography to be a hobby of mine and one of my favorite things to photograph are sunsets. The new Everyday Skies Designer Paper represents many of the colors and clouds that we see overhead through the year. Each pattern was hand painted by a Stampin' Up! Artists and converted to a 6" x 6" layout that we get to craft with! 

Mom and I recently featured this January 2025 Online Exclusive Suite in one of our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie videos. For this video, I created a Faux Window Card. 

First, I cut a card base from the Everyday Arches dies. I moved the left side of the side just over the fold of the card base so that it would not get completely cut off. Then I die cut a full size arch to go on top of the card and cover the fold. I cut the designer paper with a smaller arch die and then cut it into quarters and adhered it to the card front to look like a window pane. I used two different cloud patterns and two different images to accent the sky. Which one do you prefer?

Here's a card that I created using sponge daubers to create a multi-color autumn leave.

Tip: To create the tie-dye technique on this leaf, use Sponge Daubers to apply ink to the inside of your embossing folder (on the logo side). Spritz with water. Emboss and die cut at the same time with the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder.
