The Painterly Pears Suite includes another gorgeous designer paper hand-painted and created by Stampin' Up! Artists. I used a strip of the designer along with the coordinating stamp set to create this card.

Painterly Pears Card Measurements:

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Old Olive Cardstock
• 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" Painterly Pears Designer Paper
• Die Cut Label Basic White
• 2-5/8" x 3-1/4" Secret Sea Cardstock
• 3/4" x 1-7/8" Darling Duckling Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock (inside)

Make sure to watch the unboxing video to see me create this card and watch my tip for using Sponge Daubers to create the dynamically colored pear image!

The next card uses the Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper to create the backdrop for the simply stamped Prairie Grass images.

Prairie Grass Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 11" Cajun Craze Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2"
• 3" x 5-1/2" Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper
• 1" x 5-1/2" Early Espresso Cardstock
• Labeled with Love Punch - Basic Beige Cardstock

This card perfectly represents where I live -- Central Illinois. We live on the edge of down with fields of corn across the street and prairie grass on the corner that I pass on my walks. Here is a photo that I took last month. It's just missing the butterflies!

Sale-a-Bration Send-Off: 9 Cards with Enjoy the Journey Designer Paper + VIDEO

Sale-a-Bration is almost over! There's only one day left to pick out all of your favorite free gifts before this annual promotion ends. That's right -- Sale-a-Bration won't be back until next year! Now is the time to stock up on adhesive, cardstock, and a pre-paid Paper Pumpkin to maximize your freebies!

One of my favorite Sale-a-Bration gift options (added in February) is the Enjoy the Journey Designer Paper! This brand new paper from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog has some beautiful patterns for sunset and outdoor-themed cards, but the "B" side patterns are also bright and versatile and pair well with any stamp set! Here are three cards that I made to feature this paper!

The first one I CASEd from a sample in the Mini Catalog.

I turned to a favorite layout for this Adorable Owls card! It's a great way to show off coordinating designer paper patterns! Each strip is 1-1/2" x 5", with the center strip being cut off at the top.

The Deckled Rectangle Dies are the perfect texture for this watercolor card featuring the In the Country and Sending Support Sale-a-Bration stamp sets. These are both exclusive stamp sets that will no longer be available after Sale-a-Bration.

Watch the replay of Thursday Night Stamp Therapy to see me create all three of these cards using the Enjoy the Journey Designer Paper.

6 Stampin' Up! Simply Succulent Projects

I don't usually like intricate dies because I don't like poking out all of the pieces, but this background it just too beautiful! I created this card when I first got the Simply Succulent bundle back in November (during On Stage Pre-Order). I don't love to color, so I kept this relatively simple with some monochromatic stamping: Pear Pizzazz on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

Isn't this sentiment the best? "Kind people are my kind of people." I love our stamping community over on Facebook: Julie's Stamping Spot: Share & Connect Group. It's a great place to do just that -- share your artwork and connect with other stampers. I love the way everyone encourages each other. I hope you'll come over and hang out with us!

Order the Stampin' Up! Products to Make This Project: Simply Succulent stamp set, Pear Pizzazz ink & cardstock, Soft Sea Foam cardstock, Basic White cardstock, Potted Succulent Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Linen Thread, Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimenisinoals

Simply Succulents Bundle [156264]

Pearl Basic Jewels [144219]

Linen Thread [104199]

This bundle is gorgeous! And you may have missed it in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog because it's not part of a suite. Here are some more Simply Succulent projects created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists.
