Sale-A-Bration Sample: Avant Garden Front Flap Card

When you look at the Sale-a-bration brochure, the first freebie gift option you'll find is Avant Garden. It's a classic flower stamp set with a couple perfect little sentiments. And you can get this stamp set for FREE when you order $50 or more during Sale-a-bration!

I designed this clean and simple make and take for our team meeting in December. It's a quick one to stamp, but the shorter front flap and peek of designer paper underneath makes it different and interesting.

Start with a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Score it in half at 4-1/4" to create a regular card base. Then, cut 1" off on side. Add a piece of 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" designer paper on the inside and a 1/2" x 5-1/2" strip of coordinating color cardstock to the front flap.

Lift Me Up Hot Air Balloon Flap Card

Here is the second card I designed for my January Stamp of the Month Club card kit featuring the Lift Me Up stamp set from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. Instead of making the Night of Navy cardstock the card base, I cut the full card from Whisper White cardstock (3-1/2" x 11) and folded it in half before gluing it to the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Night of Navy cardstock. That way, when you open the card, it's white and you can easily write your message inside!

To add a little dimension to the clouds, I cut the large cloud from the Mint Macaron cardstock so that you see the Whisper White cardstock beneath it. The hot air balloons are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
