Inside the box, we put a bottle of red nail polish with a note: "On the Ninth Day of Christmas, [student name] gave to me...Rudolph the Red TOES Reindeer".
No matter how your dress up your box, the twist box is a quick and easy treat holder for any occasion. Here's how to make it:5-1/2" x 6-1/2" Baked Brown Sugar |
- For this project, I used a slightly larger piece of cardstock to accommodate the nail polish bottle, but you can make this with a quarter sheet of cardstock: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4". Apply Sticky Strip to one short end and two long sides.
- Remove the red liner from the Sticky Strip and roll the cardstock so adhere one short end over the other.
- Close one end of the tube by creasing the sides and pushing them together. Fill with candy or a gift. Close the other end in the opposite direction as you did the first end.
- Embellish as desired. I used the Gift Bow Die with Soft Suede cardstock for the antler and the 3/4" Circle Punch with Red Glimmer Paper for the nose. We had the googlie eyes on hand, but you can use circle punches (3/4" Whisper White and 1/2" Basic Black) instead.
