It's Day 10 in our 12 Days of Christmas for the kids' teachers. (
See more 12 Days of Christmas projects.) According to our schedule, we were supposed to make ornaments, but the kids didn't get them done, so I whipped up these little treat boxes with peppermint candies.
I used the Half Sheet Treat Box template that I made up last winter. Grab a half sheet of cardstock and your Paper Trimmer or Simply Scored
Tool and watch my video tutorial to learn how to make this box:
I used Real Red cardstock for the Santa box with a 3/4" wide belt and the Curvy Label Punch with Silver Glimmer Paper for the belt buckle. A 3/4" piece of black cardstock on top of the glimmer paper makes it look like the belt is looped through the buckle. I packaged the boxes in a Gussetted Cello Bag and tied it with some retired ribbon from my stash.
