Guest Artist: Kim Schultze + Shaving Cream Technique

I have another great reinker technique to share with you from Kim Schultze's Spring Into Stamping demonstration. (See her Baby Wipe cards here.) I haven't done this one in years. I don't usually like to get this messy, but the result is gorgeous!

Be sure to stop over to Kim's Facebook Page and let you know how much you love her cards!

Shaving Cream Technique

1.  Cover the bottom a disposable or washable dish/tray with shaving cream (about 1” thick). Spread it out, making sure it is larger than the size of cardstock you will use.
2.  Add drops of ink in a random pattern. Drag a toothpick or skewer through the inks to create swirls.
3. Lay a piece of cardstock down on top of the shaving cream and gently press it into the shaving cream, make sure the entire piece of CS is covered.
4. Gently lift the cardstock off and use a knife or straight edge to scrape off the excess shaving cream off the cardstock.
5. Allow the cardstock to dry completely before using it on your project.

Beautiful! I have never tried this but I must! I worry that I'd scrape away all that gorgeous swirly design though. Thanks for sharing.
