I created this card with the Best Thoughts hostess set when I created the Sketch Book over the summer. This was probably my 6th attempt at watercoloring the flower. One thing I have found is that simple is better. I tend to over-think and over-do it and then it turns into a big mess. For this one, I just painted the color all over with the AquaPainter and then went back and added some more color in the middle and let it be. It's hard to see in the photo, but I also added a very faint shadow around the entire image to make it "pop".
