Christmas Pine...apple Card

Demonstrators could pre-order from the new Holiday Catalog a month order and of course, I ordered on the first day! But it was August! I have to be honest, I wasn't inspired to start holiday crafting yet! So instead of making a Christmas card, I used the Christmas Pines stamp set and coordinating framelits to make a pineapple! Ironic that it took a holiday stamp set to get me on the pineapple trend, but that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this set.

I stamped the pineapple with So Saffron and Delightful Dijon ink and added some Clear Wink of Stella for a summer sparkle. The stem is two die cut pieces trimmed short. I attached the first one with Fine Tip Glue and the top one with a single glue dot at the bottom to provide a little more volume.

How clever to use the diecut pine bough as the top of the pineapple. It makes such a pretty card.
