As a grown-up, I don't get a lot of fun mail. My mailbox is usually filled with promotional flyers, credit card offers, bills, an occasional mailing from school...but once a month, I get a bright orange red box. I'm going to be honest -- it kind of makes my day! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly project kit subscription. Each box is a surprise, but it always contains a project that is completely designed, cut, and ready to create. I love the exclusive photopolymer stamp sets in each month and building a collection on mini ink spots, which my daughters love to steal.
While I could make up the projects exactly like they are intended, my favorite part is the personal challenge to come up with a different way to use those pieces to create fun and alternative projects to share with and inspire you. For the party favor treat bag, I cut the top off of a Petite Cafe Gift Bag and then punched a scallop edge using the Best Badge Punch.
The punch fit across the bag twice. I rounded the very end where the punch missed.
I also used the punch to cut the "It's a Party" sentiment from the insert included in the kit. I cut the piece of glimmer paper off the edge of the candle flame die cut sheet, also included in the kit.
