Friday Freebie #8 and #9

My Friday Freebie was supposed to be a Sunday Freebie and now it's a Monday Freebie! Hey, it's a freebie! Sorry it's late! I'm picking two winners, one from each week, but they will both receive the same thing -- 1-1/2" x 5" sample pieces of Designer Series Paper (every single pattern offered in the current Idea Book & Catalog!) These pieces are just the right size to dress up your cards, but would also be great as an accent on your scrapbook pages or 3-D projects.

Thanks again for all your comments and feedback! I appreciate the time you take to leave a comment. The winners are:
jmniffer, who commented on my Textured Grateful Card and said:

Thanks for the tip on using a piece of cardboard under the texture plate to get a better impression. I really didn't care for the idea of having to spritz with water or alcohol.

Nancy B., who commented on my Friend to Friend Build-a-Bear Workshop Card and said:

"Paper-piecing" looks super. Reminds me of paper dolls back when I was young ... a long, long time ago.

New to Friday Freebies? Here's how it works: Each Friday I will choose one person to win my freebie (which may range from a stamped project to free product). I will choose the winner from all of the comments left on other posts during the previous week (Saturday-Thursday).

That fish is soooo cute ! Thanks for the detailed punch and cut directions. I love the watery effect you achieved by using the rubber bands. It looks great !

Friday Freebie #6

Look who got into my Holiday Mini Catalog order after it arrived last week! My baby girl is 10 months old already, can you believe it?! And last week, she started walking! As you can tell from these photos, she loves to get into everything!

I wish I could post the Holiday Mini Catalog for you to see, but I'm not allowed to do that until September 1st, so be sure to check back then. This mini catalog is a big one and full of fabulous new stamp sets, ribbon, dies, and brand-new products -- jewelry (charms) and digital scrapbooking software (release date yet to be announced). There are also new hostess sets in this mini catalog, so get on the phone right away and call me to book your next workshop!

Ok, on to our Friday Freebie! Thanks for all the great comments this week! I especially enjoyed the comments on that Smiling Pumpkins Need Makeover post. I'm took some of your suggestions and will post a new photo of the card later tonight.

Today's Friday Freebie winner commented on that card:

I think the top note would be cute accented in a darker color behind and maybe some cut out stamped spiders tied in twine as an added accent.

It's Friday! Time to give away another freebie! These two items are left over from my customer appreciation night in June and have been sitting on my floor for the last month. I must have dumped out the basket they were in...so it's time to send them off to someone else!

Friday Freebie #4

Ooooh! I love Convention for so many reasons -- and one of them is shopping at Memento Mall, where we get to buy fun logo items that aren't usually available during the rest of the year. And since I'm still at Convention, today's Friday Freebie is going to be a special gift from Memento Mall!
I love how these nail files match the Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper. Today's Freebie winner will receive all three nail files -- and I'll even package them up cute when I get home!

Friday Freebie #2

I decided I like giving away freebies and prizes so much that I'm going to start doing it EVERY week! Every Friday, I will choose 1 winner to receive a prize -- the prize will change every week and will likely be a hand-stamped project, but may occasionally be product or a card kit.

How can you win? Each Friday, I will choose a random winner from the comments posted on my blog posts from earlier in the week. So, to get entered in next week's drawing, leave me a comment on your favorite project over the course of the next week. Comments posted between Saturday and Thursday of the previous week are eligible for each Friday Freebie drawing.

This week's freebie is a trio of projects using the new RMHC Stamp Set Very Thankful. The first project is the Catalog CASE card I posted last Saturday. The second project is this thankful turtle treat.

I intended to post the instructions for this project tonight, but when I sat down to work on it, I found that all the photos I took are blurry (including the one above, sorry!). So I have to wait for daylight to retake the photos. Watch for the tutorial tomorrow...

The third project in this freebie trio is another card and will be posted on Sunday, so watch for more "Very Thankful" fun coming soon. (You can order this great stamp set and other Stampin' Up! supplies on my website at http://juliedavison.stampinup.net.)

In the meantime, can I get a drumroll, please? The winner of this Friday's Freebie is:
Caryl P, who commented on my Record Low Temperatures card said...

What a fab xmas in July card! I love the glittered snow you added to the snowmen. Can't wait to get that set....

Caryl, send me an email with your mailing address and I will mail out your goodies early next week. (My email address is in my blog banner.)

I cleaned out my closet earlier this week and found some fun, older projects, including this Mini Envelope Album that I made in June 2007. You can find the instructions to make this album here.

And the Friday Freebie goes to...
Christyne (aka Apple Blossom), who commented on Quick Cupcakes Cards...

Cute, cute, CUTE!!!

Please send me an email with your mailing address and I will mail the album to you!
