I've been wanting to make a pop up turkey card for a few weeks and now with the Gift Bow die being on sale (Buy it Here), the timing couldn't be any more perfect!
I always struggle with designing the outside of these pop up cards. In this instance, I was trying to achieve a light-hearted look since the turkey inside is bold and cutesy.

Saturday is my Mom's birthday. Happy Birthday, Mom!!! Don't peek at this post because your card is in the mail!
I'm still playing with those Mosaics. (See more Mosaic Madness projects here.) This time I combined with with a fabulous new greeting set called Remembering Your Birthday. It has a great variety of birthday words. I thought this one was perfect to go on a Pop N' Cuts Dress Card: (outside) There's something really worth celebrating today... (inside) YOU! Happy Birthday!
I just love the Pop N' Cuts dies!! They are so easy to use and really have a WOW impact! Check out more Dress Up projects on my blog here. And if you haven't already, make sure to watch my video tutorial to see how the die work:

I absolutely love to find new ways to use products I already own! I stumbled across this project by Tanya Bell, a demonstrator from Australia, and was so excited to share my version of it at Spring Into Stamping earlier this month.
Tanya used Designer Paper for the entire base of her original box and then reinforced the box part with cardstock. My measurements are a little different as I used cardstock for the base and then added two small pieces for the sides. Don't worry, I've got directions (print and video) ready for you so you can try this at home!
Watch my video tutorial to learn how to turn the Pop N' Cuts Card Base die from Stampin' Up! into a treat box:

I made these cards for the top five sales achievers on my team a month or two ago. I love how FAST it can be to make these pop up cards! I have had other pop up dies in the past and there were overly complicated and just plain frustrating. The Pop N' Cuts dies are SO easy! (Check out my video below to learn more about the dies and how to assemble the pieces.) I can't wait to see what new inserts Stampin' Up! will come out with besides the Dress Up one!

Today's project is the last one in the February series for Stamp of the Month Club. I am having so much fun with the dress up die and I wanted club members to see it in person, so I made her to include a pop up card among the cards this month.
The
photo shows the front design and the inside. The Pop N' Cuts dies are so
easy to use. Check out this video that I posted last week that explains
the different dies and how to use them. The card in this video is
different, but the assembly is the same!
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Blooming with Kindness stamp set, Midnight Muse ink & cardstock, Crumb Cake ink & cardstock, Very Vanilla cardstock, Print Poetry Designer Paper, Curly Label Punch, Pop N’ Cuts Dress Form (Big Shot), Pop N’ Cuts Card Base (Big Shot), Dress Up Framelits (Big Shot), Midnight Muse Stitched Ribbon, Pearl Jewel Accents, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimesionals
I wasn't going to buy the Pop N' Cuts dies. I don't particularly care much for fashion, though I do enjoy watching Project Runway. I think what I love about Project Runway is watching the process of turning something simple like fabric turn into something else - clothes. And that is exactly why I broke down and bought the Pop N' Cuts Dress Up dies and Framelits. It's like magic! With a few cuts, you can turn paper and cardstock into an amazing WOW card!
Here's a photo of the front of the card:
You'll get die-cut pieces to make this card in your free make and take packet when you order $50 or more from my Online Store during my Blog Party, which ends on Thursday, February 28th. (Learn More.)Watch this video to tutorial to see how the Dress Up Pop N' Cuts dies and framelits work together as I show you how to make this card:
I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's kind of expensive to get all the dies. But if you do it during Sale-a-bration, you'll get free gifts! You don't have to do it all at once either. Buy one piece now and then another next month. The other thing to remember is that the Card Base die can be used on it's own. AND, you will be able to purchase additional Pop N' Cut dies in the future to use inside the base.
Ready for a Door Prize!? Leave me a comment on this post and finish this sentence: "I never thought I would, but I absolutely love ____." For me, it's this Dress Up collection! I am far from a fashionista in real life and I despise shoe shopping, but I am loving creating paper fashions! I will draw one winner for the Day 3 Door Prize at the end of the week. (Sorry, this
drawing is open to U.S. residents only!) Good luck!
