Daisy Lane Smile Card

I was inspired by the Global Design Project Challenge #198 to create this card. This week's challenge is a card layout. I've had a piece of this shiny Noble Peacock Designer Paper on my desk all month and I love the way it looks like a white daisy punch out. Do you have the new Medium Daisy Punch? 2-Fer Friday: Designer Paper Panel Card Layout

I love a good card layout and will use it over and over again. It's amazing how changing the paper, colors, and stamp set completely changes the look of a card design. I designed the True Gentleman card for a swap and then re-used the layout to make this birthday card with my stamp club last month. Isn't the Painted with Love paper gorgeous? It's not just for Valentine's Day!

 

This is a great layout to show off coordinating designer paper patterns! Here's a masculine version of the card with the handsome True Gentleman designer paper.

Here are the measurements I used for this card layout:

• 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Card Base
• 3-3/4" x 5" Layer
• (3) 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" Designer Paper Panels
• 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" Neutral cardtock for die cut focal point

Hearts Come Home Christmas Card

Look at this gem! I love the gray designer paper with snowflakes! Two Cards: One Layout

When I find a good card layout, I like to use it over and over. I designed this Christmas card for our group swap and used it again for our card class in Springfield last month. Global Design Project #GDP074: Lift Me Up Card

I took a little creative break this morning to create a card inspired by the latest Global Design Project challenge. I used some elements that I already had stamped and die cut from my Stamp Club earlier this week. So before I finish cleaning up, I whipped up this card.
