Stampin' Up! Playful Painter's Palette Peek-a-boo Cards

I used the Painter's Palette stamp set and coordinating Playful Playful Designer Paper stack to make up  colorful thank you cards last month.

I love the new In Colors: Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, and Emerald Envy. They are so bright and bold together.

This card is fun because it has a "peek-a-boo" affect. I stamped the easel frame first and then die cut the center using the Layering Square Framelits. TIP: To get the inside images lined up just right, stamp the sentiment through the window and then open the card to stamp the brushstrokes and dots.

Playful Painter's Palette Birthday Card

I designed this clean and simple card for a team meeting make and take in April, right after On Stage. I stamped the frame in the new Sweet Sugarplum ink on the same color cardstock and then die cut the middle with the Layering Squares Framelits. The stamped piece is a smaller square that I was able to line up perfect behind the window and adhere to the Very Vanilla cardstock behind the Sweet Sugarplum layer.

The color combination was inspired by the Playful Palette designer paper. I don't think I would have put these colors together on my own. I love how bright and happy they are together: Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, and Basic Black.

Clean & Simple Beautiful You Cards

I love clean and simple cards. When I saw this card by "Expressively Deb", I knew I had to CASE it! I changed up the cardstock layers to add more color, but the basic design is the same as Deb's card. I made up a whole bunch of these for my February thank yous.
