VIDEO: Surprise Pop-Up Diroama Card Tutorial

I am having so much fun with this Surprise Pop-Up Diorama Card. (Did you see the Festival of Tress Diorama Card I posted yesterday?) It is much easier than it looks! And once you start, you won't be able to stop! I love that it folds flat (so it can mail in a regular envelope!) and it automatically pops open into a diorama when you open it.

Folds Flat for Mailing! Fits in a regular envelope.

How to Make the Surprise Pop-Up Diorama Card:

• Cut cardstock to 5-1/2"  x 10-1/2".
• Score at 3-1/2", 6-1/2", 7", and 10".
• Add Sticky Strip to the 1/2" tab on the end.
• Punch a 2" Circle window in the 3" panel next to the 1/2" tab.
• Peel off the Sticky Strip liner and fold the card front flat to glue the tab inside the card front.

I have also made a slightly larger version of this card. The finished size was 4" x 5-1/2". The larger size requires a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock or designer paper. Click here to see an example of the larger card and a PRINTABLE TUTORIAL with cutting and scoring measurements.

Festival of Trees Surprise Pop-Up Diorama Card + GIVEAWAY

VIDEO: First Frost Pop Up Diorama Card Tutorial

Here is the last card in the trio of designs that I created for my First Frost card kit. (I have a couple kits left if you are interested in participating in my Stamp of the Month Club! Send me a message and I'll give you all the details!)

This is one of my favorite fun fold card. It looks pretty innocent on the outside, but when you open it, it's pop-ups into a diorama on the inside! See more Pop Up Diorama Cards

The best part is that it folds completely flat for mailing!

Here's what it looks like from the top when it's open so you can see the dimension that it creates. You can really dress it up by adding more flowers and leaves or keep it simple as I have done.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration Wonderful World Pop Up Card Tutorial

I first made this pop up card back in February after receiving a swap from Annette Crocetti. (See my original card.) I made a new version featuring the Sale-a-Bration Wonderful World bundle to send to my mom for her birthday last month. This card is so fun to open with a pop up surprise, but it's not as hard as you might think! Be sure to watch the video tutorial below so you can follow along and make your own pop up card at home!

I kept the front clean and simple and let the beautiful Wonderful World designer paper be the star of the show! This pattern is my favorite! I especially love the colors!

Pop-Up Fun Fold Card Measurements:

• 4-1/4" x 11" Rich Razzleberry Card Base, scored at 5-1/2"
• 3-7/8" x 11" Wonderful World Designer Paper, scored at 3-1/2", 5-1/2", and 7-1/2"
• -- cut slit in 5-1/2" score line
• 3" x 5-1/2" Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, scored at 1/2"
