So Hoppy Together Exploding Pop-Up Card

Today is the last day of Sale-a-Bration and I just had to share one more card using the cute So Hoppy Together stamp set. VIDEO: Twist Gate Fold Card Tutorial + 4 Finished Projects

Once you make a Twist Gate Fold Card, you won't be able to stop! I was inspired after seeing a video tutorial by Dawn Olchefske last month and have made five different Twist Gate Fold cards since! The scoring and folding it so much easier than it looks. The hardest part is deciding which two coordinating designer papers to use! Twist Gate Fold Card Directions:

To make this card, you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 4-1/4" x 7-1/2". Score at 2-1/2" and 5" to create three panels. On the first and third panel, score from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. (See diagram.) Fold the panel in and the diagonal out to form the card base. Use a Bone Folder to get a good crease on all of the folds.

To decorate the front, use two pieces of coordinating designer paper that are 3-7/8" x 2-1/4" each. Cut them in opposite directions from corner to corner. Adhere designer paper to the front and under flaps of the card and embellish as desired. Make sure to apply adhesive only on part of the embellishments so that card does not get glued closed!
